Haiti Shoe Box Program - 2016

BOB SNYDER ACTUALLY CALCULATES THE NUMBER OF SHIPPING CONTAINERS THEY NEED BY LOOKING OVER ALL OF THE GOODS RECEIVED, SO HE FIGURED OUR CUBIC FEET.  HE TOLD ME WE COLLECTED 150 BOXES/65.65 CUBIC FEET OF GOODS!  GREAT JOB EVERYONE! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

For many years, Riviere Mancelle in Haiti has been our sister parish. Our monthly donations are sent there to be used for the continued improvement of their lifestyle.

Bob and Denise Snyder are the liaisons between our parish and theirs and keep us informed
of the progress they are making in all areas of concern.

Over the years, we have financially supported their school program and sent shoe boxes with supplies and goodies from America.

Haiti Shoe Box Program
(Lent, 2016)

We are sending Shoe Boxes to our sister parish in Haiti again this year.  If you and your family are interested, please find a sturdy shoe box and fill it with the items suggested on the list posted on the bulletin board.  The boxes and $7.00 for shipping must be returned to church by March 27th, Easter Sunday. Please place them on the table provided in the Hall. If you would like to participate, but are unable to go shopping, we are accepting donations for shipping costs.  You may place your donation in the collection basket in an envelope marked “Shoe Box Program.” For those of you who are unable to donate a shoe box or help pay shipping, we ask for your prayers for the success of our Lenten Project of Mercy.  Let’s do this!  Please contact Cathy Randolph in person for further information or e-mail cathy.randolph20@gmail.com.

At least once a year, Bob prepares a brochure to document their progress; the latest is below.
