Welcome to the Catholic parish in Sparta, Tennessee, serving the Catholics of White County and the surrounding area. 

We are located on Valley View Drive just off State Highway 111, behind the Royal Inn Motel (See Site Map).

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
 
Classes in Religious Education are held on Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 10:45 during the regular school year.

BAPTISMS

 

Arrangements for infant baptism must be made at least two weeks in advance and,

in the case of a first child, parents and godparents must attend one period of instruction.

 

 
WEDDINGS
 
Engaged couples are required to register for marriage preparation at least six months before the wedding
and will be expected to attend a one-day Marriage Encounter.  See the Diocesan Marriage Policy.

 


 
VISITS TO THE SICK
 
Notify the Parish Office if a family member or friend would like a visit
from the priest or from a Eucharistic Minister.
 

 
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
 
Food and clothing for the needy of White and Van Buren Counties, Thursday mornings, 10:00am until noon.
